a combined vision
LIÁN LOU is the combined vision of Sheridyn Lian and Brooke Louise - to create a space for the contemporary woman to find quality pieces that embrace simplicity, are created with care and enable them to move from one space to another with ease.
Sheridyn and Brooke’s friendship spans 10 years, having met in Melbourne through mutual friends. Both studied Fashion Business while working full-time, however the idea of LIÁN LOU only came to fruition when they both stepped into a slower paced lifestyle in early 2021.
While Brooke moved home to NZ and Sheridyn still resides in Australia, their shared love over simple yet significant pieces that can be worn differently is where LIÁN LOU was born.

Everything we do is done so thoughtfully and with intention. LIÁN LOU has been meticulous in our choice of both brand and manufacturing partners to help bring our vision to life.
Both Sheridyn and Brooke place invaluable importance on the creation of meaningful connections with others and have done so when forming the extended LIÁN LOU team, with high value placed on a well-balanced and supportive working culture and mutual respect for our people and planet.
Our products are made with quality and longevity at top of mind. We are committed to sourcing organic and environmentally friendly fabrics and trims when possible and are still on a journey to do better. We have sourced GOTS certified organic cottons from reputable fabric suppliers in the Netherlands and Australia, and have chosen consciously grown and woven linen in the EU. Our Corozo crafted buttons are formed from the tagua nut, offering a natural alternative to plastic while we have invested in eco-friendly packaging to ensure we tread lightly on our planet as a whole.
Our choice to be made in New Zealand was an easy one, allowing us to be present with our incredible makers, observe their ethical working practices and positive team culture, minimise our carbon emissions and to support local production in an industry that needs revival locally.

At LIÁN LOU, we hold consideration and thoughtfulness high within our brand values. The way in which we work with and respect our people and environment is no exception. We are proud to create a space for our customers to invest in themselves and their wardrobe, with the knowledge that their LIÁN LOU pieces are made of organic and fair-minded fabrications and were expertly crafted by small, local businesses within New Zealand and Australia.
